A broken tongue is a benign (non-cancerous) condition. It can be recognized by one or more deep or shallow cracks (called grooves, grooves or cracks) in the upper part of the tongue. A broken tongue is also called:

The symptoms of a broken tongue
The symptoms of a cracked tongue are cracks in the upper part of the tongue. Sometimes they extend to the edges of the tongue. The depth and size of the cracks vary. You can be connected or not.
In deep fissures, deposits can sometimes be trapped by a reliable source. People with cracks in the tongue are asked to brush the upper part of the tongue to remove dirt. This also helps to prevent irritation or infection.
What are the causes of cracks in the tongue?
Doctors do not know why cracks form in the tongue. It is believed to be hereditary. Sometimes you see a cracked tongue below:
- Mickelson-Rosenthal syndrome
- Orofacial granulomatosis
- Down syndrome
- A cracked tongue has been associated with geographic language and psoriasis, especially pustular psoriasis.
Mudra for cracked skin, lips and tongue
Varun mudra, Vayu mudra, and vata-naashak mudra are effective mudras to overcome cracked skin, lips, and tongue.

Varun mudra

How to do Varun mudra
Join the tips of little finger and thumb finger to form Varun mudra.
Vayu mudra

How to do Vayu mudra
Place the tips of index finger at the bottom of thumb finger to form Vayu mudra.
Vata-naashak mudra

How to do Vata-naashak mudra
Place the tips of index finger, middle finger at the bottom of thumb finger to form Vata-naashak mudra.
You have to do mudras with both the hands. Just a simple touch between the tips of the finger is enough to get good results of mudra practice.
Duration of mudra practice
45 minutes of regular practice or 15 minutes thrice a day.
Precautions
If you are a Vata deficient person then do this mudras in moderation only.
