Diabetics In Children


Diabetes affects all the age groups from the elderly to the infants. Diabetes not occurs in children but in the modern time it has been growing in the children. 

The good news is that it is possible for a child with diabetes can lead a normal life. 


Symptoms of Diabetes in Children:





The most common symptom of diabetes in children are thirst and frequent urination. Sometimes it causes bed wetting. The child may feel lethargic, and develop more slowly than an average child. Sometimes there is abdominal pain and vomiting. If there is vomiting, then dehydration and acidosis may occur.

Other symptoms are lost weight and become thin, prone to respiratory diseases and infections. The skin and tongue may be dry and breath sweet smelling. Ketoacidosis, a condition in which toxins build up in the blood causing it to become acidic, occurs readily in childhood diabetes. In the advanced stage, the pulse is weak and rapid, and the pressure is low. The child may feel drowsy and even go into a state of semi-consciousness or unconsciousness.
Causes of Diabetes in Children:
Heredity plays a significant role in the development of diabetes in children. There is evidence that children developing diabetes may have had Coxsackie virus infection. Children occasionally develop diabetes after mumps, which is caused by a virus. There is growing evidence that diabetes in children, or juvenile diabetes mellitus, may be associated with environmental factors also.
Food allergy is considered to be an important cause of diabetes in children.


Remedies for Diabetes in Childrens

The treatment of diabetes in children is as like the adults, maintain the blood sugar levels within normal to prevent the dangerous of short-term complications. However, children with diabetes cannot be treated as young adults; they have special needs that should be kept in mind while adopting a nutritional plan and other natural methods of the treatment. 
Exercise helps the diabetic children. Children tend to be more active than adults. Exercise is a natural part of childhood. Exercise benefits a diabetic child by lowering sugar, improving circulation and keeping the weight within the normal range.

 VAAYU-VARDHAK , Kapha-Kaarak or Pitta-naashak mudrā ,Apaan mudrā Practicing these mudras are very much bebenficial to control diabetes in chidren.

 Herbal  and ayurvedic treatment to control diabetics:


Blackberry seeds, Green Brigade, Gooseberry,  Tinospora, Bitter gourd, Turmeric all this herbals as dried and powdered them in an equal quantity of 50 gm.Mix them well and store it in bottle free from air.


Take the mixed powder after boiling it in water for three minutes daily twice in morning and night for better results.
