Symptoms of Mumps
The first signs are fatigue, slight feverishness, and sore throat which may precede swelling.The parotid gland, situated in front of and below the ear is first affected. The temperatures up to 104 degrees F follows and inflammation spreads to glands below the jaw.After four or five days, both the swelling and the temperature subside.If the disease attacks adults there may be swelling of the testicles in males and the ovaries and the breasts among the females.

Mrigshringa Bhasma 120 gm
Sanjivani 120 mg
To be taken with warm water or juice of ginger four times a day.
Along with the above, Ashwakanchuki(120 to 240 mg) may be given at night with luke-warm water.
The affected part may be covered with a poultice consisting of Nalukakepa of Danshangalepa and ghee.It must be covered with a cotton or woolen cloth to keep it warm.
