TUBERCULOSIS SIGN AND SYPTOMS

GUIDLINE ABOUT TUBERCULOSIS
                                                                                                           
SIGN AND SYPTOMS:

Tuberculosis may occur anywhere in the body but, more commonly; it affects the lungs, intestines, bones, and glands. Pulmonary tuberculosis or tuberculosis of the lungs is by far the most common type of tuberculosis. It tends to consume the body and the patient loses strength, color, and weight. Cough for 3 weeks or more, fever rises in evening, breathing goes high, pain in chest, blood with sputum, weakness and tiredness, no desire for food, and decline in the weight.

DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT:

3 sputum checks up and treatment of TB are free of cost at Govt. microscopy centre and primary health centre (Health Post).

PREVENTION:

1. TB is curable provide complete course of medicines must be taken regularly with balance diet otherwise drug resistant TB MAY DEVELOP.

2. Don’t split in public place, you become the carrier of spreading TB germs in public (Must).

3 Split in spittoon and should be kept covered and use phenyl to kill the germs (If possible).

4. Follow up sputum examination during TB Treatment is must to check progress and for further TB treatment.

5. Provide yourself with early morning fresh air and sunlight (Must)

6. Proper ventilation must provided for fresh air and sunlight (If possible)

7. Drinking water should be boiled at least for 10 minutes (If possible) or use alum for purifying drinking water.

8. Piece of Onion, Should be kept or hand in TB patient's room (Must).

9. Every day all floors must be wiped out with phenyl (If possible)

10. To purify and disinfect the atmosphere n homes, burn Neem, Tulsi and Dhoop powder each 1 spoon on hot tawa or iron plate if possible.

11. Every day toilets, bathrooms, should be keep clean with bleaching powder (If possible)
