Ingredients:
- Unsalted, raw, shelled pistachios
- Beekeepers Naturals B.Chill Hemp Honey
- Vanilla bean paste
- Sea salt
Instructions:
- Soak the pistachios in water overnight.
- The next day, blend them in a high-speed blender with some filtered water, one tablespoon of BeeKeepers Naturals B.Chill Hemp Honey, a teaspoon of vanilla bean paste, and a few cracks of sea salt.
- Keep blending the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy.
- You can then pour the mixture through a nut milk bag, making sure to squeeze from top to bottom to get as much of the moisture out as you can.
- Then pour the strained pistachio nut milk into a jar or a glass and let it chill for a few hours. The best thing about this nut milk is the fact that you can keep it in the fridge for a week!
CBD Pasties
Ingredients:
- 2 potatoes peeled and cubed
- 1 onion chopped
- ¼ piece rutabaga (cubed)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 diced carrot
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbs margarine
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 pound boneless round or chuck steak cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbs CBD Tincture
Instructions:
- Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Cut in the shortening until the mix resembles coarse crumbs. Then stir in the water until your mixture forms a ball. Wrap the ball in plastic and refrigerate.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with some parchment paper.
- Combine the meat, potatoes, onion, rutabaga, and chopped carrots in a large bowl. Season with some salt and pepper to your taste.
- Divide the dough into six pieces that you’ll shape into balls. Roll each ball into a 6-inch round on a lightly floured surface.
- Then place approximately a cup of filling on one-half of each ball.
- Dot each ball with a tablespoon of margarine and some CBD tincture.
- Draw the remaining half of your pastry over the filling and crimp the edges in order to seal in the filling. Prick it with a fork and place on everything on a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour.
