Barbara Marx Hubbard, pedagogue, futurist and bestselling author of Conscious Evolution, spokesman and president of the Conscious Foundation for Evolution. In 1980, he presented a 14-part television series, Potentials, interviews with some of our greatest futurists, including Buckminster Fuller, Norman Cousins, Gene Roddenberry, and Willis Harman. She has been living in Marin County for many years and currently lives in Sandta Barbara, California.
The purpose of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution is to bring a new world view called "conscious evolution" into global culture. It is based on the conviction that humanity contains the most promising guidelines for a positive future of every vision of the world that is now available. Conscious development is understood to mean that people have acquired the power of co-destruction and co-creation. Knowing that we are really responsible for leading the evolutionary process on this planet means that we need to learn a new set of skills, spiritual, social and technological. Then the foundation brings the new vision of the world of Conscio Evolution into world culture. The work they do in Santa Barbara is very exciting. It began in October 1998, when Hubbard gave a speech in Santa Barbara. After talking about conscious development, he asked a question, "What would happen if this community had its own potential for conscious development?" She had never asked this question before, she said, "Can anyone be interested here?" and about 180 people put their name in a box, then a group was formed to take them to Santa Barbara to give some introductory lessons, which they did, and she said, "There are things that I think about that we should know them to discover our full potential. First, we need to get to know our new creative story, which is the "Cosmogenesis". This process of evolution has led to greater awareness and greater freedom through a more complex order, so that we as human beings are in the process of cosmogenesis, and we need to know that we are where we are personally, whether we are depressed or full of motivation are that the universe is in us and moves us. And my theory is that there are many people who develop into what we might call a universal human being. "
According to Hubbard, cultural workers ate people by transforming their values into a more global and globalized culture. But above them she looks a little deeper. She believes that there is an emerging species in humanity prefigured by the great avatars, Jesus, Buddha and others. But this is becoming a new norm as we expand our creativity. She believes that we can somehow be a kind of transition between self-confident Homo sapiens and what in the end could become a truly universal species, spiritual and physical. Because we will go outside; We work and live already in space. For the third millennium we will be a kind of solar system if we do not exploit it. For the fourth millennium, we can be galactic.
Cultural creations are progress. But there is something profound between cultural creatives and others that he calls "urgency." She says it almost looks like a change in identity, moving from a separate, self-centering stage to a more unified stage. And in this change of identity matures our consciousness and our creative responsibility, which I hold as a pioneer of what we can be from now on. We had Homo Habilus, Homo Erectus, Homo Neaderthal, Homo Sapiens ... we become Homo Universal Humanity. When you add the capacity for unity healing to self-healing and even the ultimate regeneration, and the ability to information revolution and to the global brain and the ability to live and work in space, and so forth, you begin radically, spiritually, socially, and spiritually new forces To see technologically, to unite everything, it is a quantum leap. According to her, we are experiencing this transitional period on the planet, we are potentially a new species. We have to know our own creation story and we are part of it. And we have to know our own creation story, and we are part of it. And we have to know that we are an "aspiring man". and that our growth potential literally has no limits. Part of it is that we need to learn co-creative relationships and how to find our deep meaning.
The concept of finding a calling is one of the emerging styles. Women go from maximum procreation to co-creation, to an expansion of creativity. As we turn to action, we try to shape, model, by our way, the changes we want to see in the world. Not only are we creating more bureaucracy and more competition and more violence. We want to go out and create what Hubbard calls "resonance cores" - they connect the heart to each other. The last is that we need to develop processes of social synergy and co-creation. "In Santa Barbara, we are learning all this and we are looking for a synergistic event in the church with a local" peace room. "The Peace Room is an idea I used when running for the vice president, a social function that scans or maps and communicates what happens, what works, what is innovative, what is already changing the world ".
The peace room is the opposite of the war zone. They are now designing it in Santa Bárbara, which was itself selected as a joint prototype to see how it really works. She has been carrying these ideas for many years, but what she realized when the church responded was that entire communities are needed to support the idea of this new worldview. It's not just self-help. It's not just social action, it's a complete transition of the system. They do that by creating a vocation to bring this to life by developing a team. As the team grows, the way they interact, how they perform the work to which they are called, they want to shape the change. "In other words, it is the famous saying," Be the change, what you would do. "And we're not just talking about employees, first in small groups and then in communities - if the community can be the change you want to see, that's the most effective thing you can do."
Hubbard calls these synergistic events that are like city meetings in the round. Instead of having people to vote on issues, they have circles on function, health, education, government, science, art, media, cultures, saying what they want to create, and then connecting needs and resources for "We conceptualize them Kind of event with a peace room that would allow people to process and map what really works. " I believe that my main point of view has taken me from San Rafael to Santa Barbara, a community that is necessary to develop consciously. "
Hubbard believes that a community is needed to generate the creative potential of his people. And the way nature has worked for billions of years is made up of individual parts that are synergized to form a larger whole. Synergy does not mean that everyone can do more than be creatively unique when working with others who do the same. "That's my assumption, I tried it in Downtown Los Angeles in the 1970s, the Jamaican nation on the beaches, with people who could not even read in demanding places Washington DC If you create an environment that synergy and It's natural for co-creation to be because people need others to create something, and we've asked three simple questions from the wheel to people in each sector. "What's your current passion for creating? Where is the juice for you? Number two: What blocks you? And number three, which resource do you have to share? "And if you answer these three questions, even at a table with ten people, there will be people who have something, a resource that meets the need, then the various sectors will come together and meet at a meeting of the Common : "You know, we want to do that, here are our needs, here are our resources." He will say, "We have resources to meet that need." And before you know it all is in synergy. "
Hubbard has a website, www.cocreation.org, that marks the beginning of the Peace Room. They ask people to bring their projects into the peace room and then, as they develop, they will have instructions and guidance ... how we do it so others can learn and learn from them.
"We discover that we are moving forward because we have attracted about 150 people to some kind of team, who will practice resonance cores and study conscious evolution and then move into the community to find a growing advantage in all areas and to people bringing together synergistic events, we will connect what is coming together, what is already on the march, what is at stake, and not just an artist known and a leader - he also wants to be very popular, very open, with a wonderful Diversity and mix, that seems to be a great way to make people do more than dream, everyone can do more than what makes them Passionate, that's why it works so well.
There is a real disaster zone, she says, called the "news". Headlines ... If you did not know that something is coming on this planet, you might think we're going to hell and we're already here. To some extent there is a hell to hell and we are already there. To a certain extent, hell happens on this planet. But beneath the surface of moribund crops, where we have a large military buildup and ethnic cleansing and injustices that are terrible, there are green shoots of new ways to do so, all of which are cooperative and loving. But they have not appeared yet. It is spring on the planet, very early in spring, according to Hubbard. "The two things I miss are the connections between what is already emerging and the constant communication about it, not just as little news, but as aspiring humanity, it must be the momentum of urgent, who has wished human preparations, that that is, their own ability to connect with themselves, with nature and with their minds, and there are millions of people doing so - are a complete culture of ordinary people with new qualities. "
